So, Mac turned 5 months old this past Wednesday, March 23:) We weighed him and he now weighs 16 lbs. He's growing so quickly. I want to make time stand still so that I can soak up every moment possible with him. Mac rolled over this past week too. At Mrs. Cindy's on Friday, March 25th, he rolled from his belly to his back. We've been waiting on him to do this. He has been acting like he has wanted to roll over for a while now, but he would always get started and then he would stick his legs out and would stop himself. I wasn't really worried, I knew that he would roll over eventually:) This week, we also started Mac on cereal. We went to church Sun morning, March 27th, and decided that when we got home, that it was time for some real food....if you can call rice cereal "real food":) I have posted some pics. Oh, sorry about my nice hairdo:)

5 months old
Mac,
I cannot believe that you are 5 months old already! I feel like you were just born yesterday, yet, at the same time, I can't imagine our lives without you. You are the BEST baby I have ever seen...ever!!! I know that I have said this before....I knew that you would be wonderful, but I had no idea just how wonderful! It's amazing just how completely in love with you your daddy and I have become. We both love to be with you every second possible. You are amazing!! I am so thankful that God blessed our family with you, and I feel so undeserving for such a blessing. I pray daily for help from God in raising you. In only 5 months you have completely changed our world in such a wonderful way. I don't want to rush time at all, but I look forward to watching you grow up and seeing who you will become.
Let me tell you a little about what goes on in your life right now....
Every morning, you wake up around 5:15 and you begin chatting. Your daddy gets up and gets in the shower, and I begin getting your bottle ready. I begin feeding you, then we switch off when your daddy is finished with his shower. We talk to you every morning until we leave for Mrs. Cindy's. You LOVE to talk, squeal, and now spit (thanks to Paypa who taught you how to spit this past week...I love it:) We pack you up for Cindy's, then off we go. You giggle at Mrs. Cindy, Mr. Matt, Aunt Alicia and your sweet cousin, Layla every morning. I know that you know who they are now. You and Layla love to giggle at each other:) We all watch you and Layla for about 15 mins, then Alicia and I are off to work. I think about you all day, and can't wait to pick you up every afternoon. I pick you up right after school. You are usually either in Mrs. Cindy's swing sleeping, or you are in the floor playing with Layla and Krue. You ALWAYS grin at me....that makes me feel so good....like you are sooo excited to see me:) We get in the car and head home. At home, you once again get excited when you see your daddy. You and your daddy are big buddies. I love how much ya'll love each other. You like to play in the floor, in your exersaucer, or just on the couch with daddy or me. We pretty much hold you all night. I know that we should put you down, but I can't do it, and I don't think that your daddy can either. We miss you so much during the day, and we just want to soak up all of the Mac time that we can at night. You usually drink a bottle around 5 or 5:30 and you have some cereal. After that, you are either so exhausted and go right to sleep in my arms, or if you're good and rested, you are ready to play. You drink your final bottle around 8 or 8:30, then we take you to bed. You always lay right down. You turn over on your right side and put both of your hands up to your face and fall asleep. It's the sweetest and most peaceful sight ever! You don't cry or even whimper. I think that you are so worn out that you are just thankful to finally get some sleep....I think that you get this from your daddy and me....we also like to go go go, until we just crash. You then sleep all night....just as you have been doing since you were about 2 months old:)
We love you so much Mac. Thanks for making me the most blessed and happiest mommy ever!!!
I love you always!

20 weeks old....and about 16 lbs:)
This past weekend was wonderful! I started off the weekend with a girls dinner at the Cazbah with Amy, Casey, Casey, Julie, and my sister in law, Sarah (Jonathan, Sarah, Banks and Eli came into town for the weekend). We had such a good time. Mac and Ben spent some boy time at the townhouse. On Saturday, we headed to David and Robin's to visit with everyone. We then took Mac to my parent's house to spend Sat night, so that Ben and I could go to Hal and Amanda's shower. We had a few people over before the shower. We had tons of fun at the shower! Sunday morning, I got up and couldn't wait to pick up my sweet Mac. I hurried to my parent's house! Then, we all went back to the Smith's for lunch. After lunch, we ran some errands and headed home. It was really a wonderful weekend. We were able to spend some time with both families, as well as with friends....and most of all, with Mac. I have posted some pics:)

Cousins
| Me with Mac, Anna with Tradd, Sarah with Eli and Big Cousin and Brother, Banks |
Jonathan and Sarah came into town with their sweet boys, Banks and Eli. Anna came over with Tradd, so we were about to get some pics of the boys:) Just to explain the relation of everyone.....Sarah and I are married to brothers, Jonathan and Ben. Jonathan and Sarah have 2 boys....Banks who is 3 and Eli who is about 2 and a half months old. Anna is Ben's cousin....Tradd is Russell and Anna's son, who is 2 weeks older than Mac. We are so blessed to have all of the sweet boys who will be able to grow up together. They are going to keep us busy, and I hope that they are all best buddies!!!!

19 weeks
So, Mac finally got his four month shots this past week...on Wednesday, Mar. 2nd. I had to take him alone since Ben had to work. He was great! I think holding his arms down was worse on me than the pain of the shots were on Mac. He cried for about 2 seconds, but as soon as I picked him up, he stopped. He is now over his spell with RSV...thank goodness! Mac and I had the townhouse to ourselves this past weekend. Ben went to Nashville with some friends for Hal's bachelor party. Mac and I actually spent the night with my parent's on Friday night, then on Sat night, Sarah spent the night with us. Mac was a champ all weekend. He was so happy to see Ban though on Sunday afternoon. He was really tired Sunday afternoon, but as soon as Ben walked in the door, his face lit up and he was ready to play. I love to see the two of them together! All in all, we had a great week and weekend!!
