The sweetest heartbeat ever!!!!

Friday, April 16th was such a wonderful day.

Ben and I slept in (we both had the day off), then we headed to the doctor's office for our 10:15 appointment to hear Baby Smith's heartbeat. It was the sweetest sound ever!!! The heartbeat was 172....not sure if that means a boy or girl....we're trying not to think about that just yet. I loved that sound though:) We go back to the doctor on Friday, May 14 to find out if we are having a boy or a girl....can't wait!!!!

While we were at the Dr. office, I asked Dr. Brown to clarify the deli meat thing for me one more time....I was so excited when she told me that I could have any deli meat that had been toasted/cooked. I specifically asked if I could eat Groucho's and I was sooo excited when she said yes...since they toast their sandwiches. So, we ate lunch at Groucho's and I got to enjoy my fav sandwich, the Apollo:)

I then had a pedicure...which was wonderful and relaxing.

Then, I went home for a short, one hour nap...and Ben had some errands to run.

After the nap, I headed to Converse to do some last minute studying for my Academic Comprehensive Exam....um, it covered 3 years of course work, and I know that I should have spent the whole day studying, but I just couldn't bring myself to studying....there were too many other things to do that day:).....But, at 4:00, I began studying, and praying very hard, and luckily, began the exam at 5:30, finished at 6:30 and PASSED!!!! I was sooo excited:)

Earlier in the morning, at 2:32 am to be exact, one of my best friends, Casey had her little baby girl, McKenley. So, after my comps, I headed to the hospital to hold sweet McKenley....she is precious:)

Then, I headed to Mellow Mushroom to meet Ben, Ryan and Mamie for dinner (I love their "build your own" salads:) We had a great time.

Then, Ben and I headed home.

When I arrived at home, the pocketbook that I had wanted for a while from J.Crew, the Campo bag, was there waiting for me....once again, I was so excited:)

Did I mention that I had a wonderful day last Friday???:)
