Weekend of firsts

So, this weekend, Mac had quite a few, "firsts."
1.     He has been making a sound for a while now that sounds like he is saying "hey," but Friday morning, I  said to him, "Mac, can you say hey," and he looked right at my lips and said, as clear as day, "hey" :)
2.     Mac has been eating rice cereal for a couple of weeks, and on Sunday, Ben and I decided to add green beans to one of his feedings. I wasn't sure how he would do, but he LOVED the green beans. Every time that I put a spoonful in his mouth, he chomped down so hard, that the green beans splattered out of the spoon.
3.     Mac has also been making sounds that sound a little like MaMa and DaDa, but this morning, as he was doing  his normal chatting in his bed (along with his spitting), he made a sound that sounded so clearly like DaDa. So, when I went into his room, I looked over at him, and said "Mac, can you say DaDa?" He looked right up at me, and as plain as day said, "DaDa" :)

I love my sweet Mac soooo much!!!!! I love all of these firsts, but it reminds me how quickly he is growing up! TIME, PLEASE SLOW DOWN!!!!!!!
