Again....just some things that I don't ever want to forget.....
Two nights ago, Mac and I were saying his prayers....we always begin, "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. And angels watch me through the night".....then Mac said as fast as he could....before I could say it...."and keep bwessed sight" (and keep me in thy blessed sight). It was one of the sweetest things I have ever heard him say. I know that he listens to EVERYTHING that we say, because he copies us ALOT, but I thought that he was usually so sleepy during his prayers, that he surely wasn't paying attention....well, he has been and I'm a proud mommy that he is learning this sweet prayer. He also continues to bless EVERYONE in our family as well as his blankets and his teachers and friends at school. I LOVE this sweet boy and I'm so proud of the things that he is learning. It makes my heart smile:)
Mac is also now saying, "No, I good mommy." As in; me: "Mac, do you want your banana?" Mac: "No, I good mommy."
He also now asks us everyday, "Good day mommy?" and "Good day daddy?" Ben and I talk about our days every day when we get home and it usually begins with me asking Ben if he had a good day. I love that Mac has picked up on this....and, most days, he beats me to the question.
Mac loves going to "Bi-wo" now....because they give him cookies and he likes to "dwive" the carts that look like cars:)
He also calls chicken nuggets "chicken nut nuts." He thinks that Chick Fil A is called "Chicken nut nut," because that's where we get chicken nuggets. The other day, he was pointing at Ben's cup and said, "daddy chicken nut nut cup." We realized that he was talking about Ben's Chick Fil A cup.
Mac is loving "Santa Cwas," and "No Mans." (Santa and Snow Man)
Ben just finished putting in the shelves around our TV in the living room, and last night, I put up some baskets and pictures on some of the shelves. This morning, I told Mac to look at the shelves (since the pics were of him). He said "oooohhhh, Mommy, that pitty." And then, once again, he followed it with a "Good job Ben"....one of his favorite sayings now:)
I just love this sweet boy to pieces!!! I love him more and more everyday!!!
Thank you Jesus for my sweet family!!
I sometimes call Ben, Benj or Benji and since Mac has been trying out the "Ben" word instead of "daddy," last night, I said something to Ben (but I called him Benji)....Mac quickly picked up on that and called Ben, "Benji," the rest of the night.
