So, these are pics of Mac in his dedication outfit....minus the shirt. I LOVE this outfit, and I realized, once I blogged about his dedication, that I didn't have many pics of him on that day, in this outfit. So, we had a photo shoot...I know that there are lots of pics with this blog.....but I love them all....I love all of his different poses and the faces that he's making.....

7 months of sweet happiness

My sweet Mac is 7 months old today. We weighed him yesterday, and he weighed a little over 17 and a half pounds....he hasn't gained much at all this past month! I love this baby more and more every day!

Mac,

You have the sweetest, most laid back personality. Everyone who sees you, talks about what a sweet and happy baby you are. You LOVE people, and people LOVE you.....I love that! I love that you have so many people who love you so much! You make me a proud Mommy already! Everyone talks about what a good baby you are......and, you really are. You are still on the schedule that you put yourself on, although, you are sleeping a little longer now (sometimes 10-11 hours, instead of only 9:). You still eat about every 3 hours....we call you our little alarm, because you will not 3 hours pass without eating (unless you are asleep:). You are eating your first bottle around 6 (6 oz), then around 8, you have a veg and a 3 oz bottle. Around 11ish, you have another 6 oz bottle, then another around 1:30-2. You eat fruit/cereal, and have another 3 oz bottle around 5ish, and your last 6 oz around 7:30, then you are off to bed. You love your bed still. I think that it is your favorite place to be. You are still taking naps around 10 and 2, and you take a little cat nap at night, when we are holding you, around 6:30ish. You never cry, unless you are overly tired, or of course, hungry. You do still cry sometimes when your bottle is empty, but Dr. Parra assured us that you were getting plenty to eat. You are still saying DaDa, and hey. You look at people with your sweet, bright blue eyes, and say "hey," in the most cheerful voice....I LOVE IT!!!! You said bottle this past week, on May 17th. I fed you your nightly fruit and cereal, and your 3 oz bottle, and when the bottle was empty, you held your hands out toward the bottle, and said, "bah-bah." Your Daddy and I just looked at each other, and I said, "Ben, I think that he just tried to say bottle." You looked right at the bottle a second time, and said "bah-bah," again. You have been saying it ever since:) You can sit up like a champ. You conquered this in about a week. On your 6 month bday, you could sit up, but only for a couple of seconds, and within a week, you were sitting up for minutes, and you could lay over and pull yourself back up. You are now rolling over at night, and sleeping on your tummy. I think that this is why you are sleeping longer. You love faces still. I love holding you while you touch my nose, eyes, chin. You are just wonderful! I love you so much and I love being your Mommy!!! I am so proud of you! You make me the most blessed Mommy in the world!!! I love you sweet Mac!

Mac loved Silver Lake today. He didn't get in the lake, but we did take a blow up swimming pool that my daddy gave us....he loved it:) I have more pics...I'll try to post later.

We play in the mornings during the week, but weekday mornings are abbreviated versions of the weekend....

My prayer for Mac

Mac,
I just want you to know some of the things that I pray for every night...

I pray that you will know Jesus.
I pray that you are happy....and, if/when you are sad, you will find comfort in Jesus and those around you who love you.
I pray that you will never doubt my love for Jesus, your daddy, and you.
I pray that one day, God will send you a wife who loves Jesus too, and who loves you as much as I love your daddy.

We decided to take Mac to his first Music on Main (well first M on M since his birth:). We didn't love the band, so we decided to head on to Wild Wings to eat dinner with Ryan and Mamie.
